Chapter 1 Purpose

Article 1 Objective

 

This Terms of Service is intended to regulate the conditions and procedures for using the services provided by GHK through the internet site operated by GHK and other matters.

 

Article 2 Effectiveness and Amendment of Terms

 

(1) This agreement becomes effective by posting it on the service screen or by notifying users in other ways.

(2) GHK may amend the terms in case of significant business reasons, and the amended terms become effective in the same manner as in the preceding clause.

 

Article 3 Matters Not Specified in the Terms

 

Any matters not specified in this agreement and matters of interpretation shall be governed by relevant laws or customs.

Chapter 2 Membership Registration and Service Use

 

Article 1 Members

 

A member refers to a person who registers and completes registration information on the website operated by GHK and is recognized as suitable for membership of the GHK website.

 

(1) Membership registration is completed by submitting a membership application and agreeing to the terms of GHK.

(2) Individuals who wish to join as members and use the service must provide the personal information requested by GHK.

(3) When GHK approves the application for use, the following items shall be notified to the user.

   ① User ID

   ② Service start date

   ③ Other matters deemed necessary by GHK 

 

Article 2 Registration Procedure

 

Users who wish to join as members of the GHK's website must apply for new membership on the homepage.

Article 3 Suspension of Membership

 

Qualification GHK may suspend the membership qualification of a member without separate notification procedure for the following cases of application for use contracts.

    ①  When applying using another person's name

    ②  When false information is provided on the membership application form

    ③  In case of violation of the provisions stipulated in this agreement

    ④ When conducting activities online or offline that harm the operation of the website

 

Article 4 Use of Services

 

(1) Service usage is generally available 24/7, except when there are significant business or technical issues for GHK.

(2) Exceptional cases where service provision time is determined by GHK due to regular inspections or other necessary reasons.

(3) When registering as a member, an ID is automatically issued, and since various user management tasks are performed based on the user ID, changing the user ID is restricted unless there are clear reasons.

 

Chapter 3 Duties of GHK and Duties of Users

 

Article 1 Duties of GHK

(1) GHK ensures that users can use the service immediately upon application unless there are special circumstances.

(2) GHK has an obligation to continuously and stably provide services to members and users.

(3) GHK shall always maintain the service provision facility in an operable state and promptly repair and restore it in case of failure to ensure that users can use the service without inconvenience.

(4) If opinions or complaints raised by members or users are deemed reasonable by GHK, they must be promptly addressed. However, if immediate processing is difficult, GHK must notify the member of the reasons and processing schedule.

 

Article 2 Duties of Users

(1) When applying for membership registration or updating membership information, users must provide all information truthfully and based on facts, and they cannot claim any rights if false or other person's information is registered.

(2) Members must comply with the provisions of this agreement, other regulations set by GHK, notices, etc., and other applicable laws and regulations, and must not engage in acts that interfere with GHK's operations or damage its reputation.

(3) Members must immediately notify GHK of any changes in the terms of the usage agreement, such as address, contact information, or email address.

(4) Except in cases where GHK bears responsibility based on relevant laws and the 'Privacy Policy', members are responsible for managing their ID passwords, and they are responsible for all consequences of unauthorized use.

(5) Members cannot engage in business activities using the service without GHK's prior approval, and GHK is not responsible for the results of such business activities. If GHK incurs damages due to such business activities, the member is obliged to compensate GHK, and GHK may restrict the member's service use and claim damages through legal procedures.

(6) Members cannot transfer, donate, or provide others with the right to use the service, or other status stipulated in the usage agreement without GHK's explicit consent or offer them as collateral.

(7) Members must not infringe on GHK's or third parties' intellectual property rights.

(8) Members must not engage in the following acts, and if they do, GHK may impose sanctions, including service use restrictions and legal measures.

 

• Providing false information when applying for membership registration or updating membership          information

• Using another user's ID, password, or resident registration number

• Trading user IDs with others

• Impersonating GHK's staff, employees, or affiliates

• Modifying GHK's client programs or hacking GHK's servers without permission, or changing part or all   of the website or posted information arbitrarily

• Harming or deliberately obstructing the service 

• Reproducing information obtained through the service for purposes other than service use without      GHK's prior approval, using it for publication, broadcasting, etc., or providing it to third parties

• Transmitting, posting, or disseminating information, sentences, images, sounds, or videos containing  obscene or lewd content through the service by e-mail or other means

• Transmitting, posting, or disseminating information that may violate the honor or privacy of others         through the service

• Harassing or threatening other users or causing continuous distress or discomfort to specific users

• Collecting or storing others' personal information through the service without GHK's approval

• Acts that are objectively judged to be associated with crimes

• Violating other regulations or terms set by GHK, including this agreement

• Acts that violate other relevant laws

Chapter 4 Termination of Contract and Restriction of Service Use

Article 1: Change of Personal Information and Membership Withdrawal

​

(1) When a user wishes to change their personal information, they must do so directly online through the provided method. If they wish to withdraw from membership, they must submit a withdrawal request according to the form specified by GHK.

(2) Upon withdrawal, all personal information registered at the time of membership registration will be deleted.

Article 2: Restriction on Service Use

​

GHK may terminate the service contract or suspend service use for a specified period without prior notice if a user engages in any of the following actions:

(1) Actions related to criminal activities

(2) Actions that violate public order and morals

(3) Actions planned or executed with the intent to harm national interests or social welfare through service use

(4) Use of another person's service ID and password

(5) Actions that damage the reputation or cause harm to others

(6) Duplicate registrations by a service user under the same name

(7) Actions that undermine the healthy use of the service, including causing harm to the service (8) Violation of relevant laws or conditions set by GHK

Article 3: Procedure for Lifting Restrictions on Use

 

(1) If GHK intends to restrict service use, it shall notify the user or their representative of the reason, date, and period of restriction through electronic mail, telephone, or other means. However, this may not apply if GHK deems it necessary to urgently suspend use.

(2) A user or their representative who receives a notification of service suspension may file an objection.

(3) GHK may temporarily postpone the suspension of use until the confirmation of the objection and notify the user or their representative of the result.

(4) If it is confirmed that the reason for suspension has been resolved during the suspension period, GHK shall immediately lift the suspension.

Article 4: Deletion of Public Posts

 

GHK may delete content posted or registered by users within the service without prior notice if it is deemed to fall under any of the following categories:

(1) Content that undermines the commercial interests of GHK

2) Content that defames or damages the reputation of other users or third parties

(3) Content that violates public order and morals

(4) Content suspected to be associated with criminal activities

(5) Content that infringes on the copyrights or other rights of third parties

(6) Content that violates other relevant laws or regulations established by GHK

Article 5: Provision of Information

 

GHK may provide users with various information deemed necessary during service use through methods such as electronic mail or postal mail.

​

Chapter 5: Amendment of Terms and Conditions

​

GHK may amend these terms and conditions within the scope not violating related laws such as the Act on Regulation of Terms and Conditions, the Electronic Transactions Basic Act, the Electronic Signature Act, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization, etc. When GHK amends these terms and conditions, it shall give notice of the amended terms and conditions at least seven days before the effective date.

Chapter 6: Miscellaneous

Article 1: Relationship Between Linked Sites

 

(1) GHK shall not be responsible for the products or services handled by linked sites connected to GHK's website.

(2) Linked sites operate independently, and GHK shall not be responsible for transactions conducted between linked sites and users.

​

Article 2: Ownership of Copyrights and Restrictions on Use

 

(1) Users may not reproduce, transmit, publish, distribute, broadcast, or use for commercial purposes any information obtained through the use of GHK's website without prior consent from GHK.

Article 3: Disclaimer

 

①GHK shall be exempt from liability for providing services in case of force majeure or circumstances equivalent to force majeure.

② GHK shall not be liable for any service disruptions caused by the user's fault.

③GHK shall not be liable for any loss of expected profits or any other damages incurred by the user through the use of the service.

④ GHK shall not be responsible for the reliability, accuracy, or any other content-related matters regarding information, data, or facts posted by users on the service.

Article 4: Jurisdiction

 

Any lawsuits related to these terms and conditions shall be filed with the Seoul District Court.

​

Supplementary Provisions

These terms and conditions shall be effective from January 12, 2024, and shall replace any previous terms and conditions.
